The building, dating back to the 1970s, showed significant deterioration of the reinforced concrete structures, evident infiltrations with detached plaster and attacks of mould, also aggravated by frequent flooding events. Therefore, a specific complete cycle of microbicidal disinfestation, restoration and protection of the external facades was carried out.

The global energy requalification intervention on the building involved the reconstruction of the roof covering with appropriate insulation and the installation of a thermal insulation coat system on the external walls which allows optimizing energy performance and thermal properties of the casing, improving living comfort, reducing winter and summer energy consumption and ensuring a revaluation of the property thanks to obtaining a higher energy class, in addition to the greater durability of the facades.
